Sophia Bush has been an It Girl since the mid 2000s. Brooke Davis, anyone? The HBIC of One Tree Hill that always told it like it was and was just as desperate for love as the rest of us. A true queen. With her effortlessly shiny hair and that unique birthmark on her cheek, she has always been an icon. We’ll never be able to emulate her perfectly raspy voice, but we did learn how to recreate this beautiful look of hers.
Earlier this month, Sophia Bush attended a Golden Globes party thrown by InStyle Magazine and she graced the red carpet with a gorgeous minimal yet youthful look. Her makeup artist Amber Dreadon went for a glowy base using a combination of Armani Glow Balm, Nyx High Glass Primer, and Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Use a glow stick or liquid glow under your dewy or luminous foundation to achieve the same results. Dreadon also used Nyx Sweet Cheeks blush and Highglass Illuminating Powder to give Sophia that flush of color. So don’t skimp on the blush ladies!
Hit your brows with some brow powder, brushing upwards as you set. Dreadon made a custom fuchsia lip color, achievable if you’ve got a lip palette, or let’s be honest, you’ve got an eerily similar shade in your makeup drawer.
Of course to top it all off, do like Dreadon and use our Lite Mink lashes in the style ‘Goddess’. This natural style is perfect for beginners that want to add a little glam to special occasion looks. Lash pros will also love these for the occasional easy and bare-ish look.
Unfortunately, you’ll never be able to wear Clothes Over Bros, but you can rock this red carpet look with some Lilly Lashes.
